CHART OF THE WEEK: Apple’s Disappointing Quarter In Context
Great charts from our friends at Statista who produce some very neat graphics. And as they say a picture paints a thousand balance sheets.
This recent chart reminds us just how big Apple has become. The quarter was deemed a failure by many on Wall St. But look again. Apple’s income was $13 billion and they have close to $137 Billion in the bank.
Even by tech terms this is big. Microsoft the long-time big profit elephant only turned in $6.4 Billion, less than half Apple’s profit.
