This week O2 announced that they have sold 1M iPhones in the UK since the launch in Nov 07. Lets see that is 16 months or close to 16*30 days. Call it 500 days to help with the maths which equates to 2,000 units per day.
Total UK cell phone numbers are now over 100% of population. With iPhones in 1M hands that is still a very small share of the UK market.
